women found that organization in Sigma Lambda Upsilon/ Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority,
Inc. These four women were :

#2 Claudia Ramirez
#3 Laurie Price
#4 Joan Rodriguez
The Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Lambda Upsilon was founded on April 22, 2000 by these women
after enduring a challenging intake process that brought them closer than they ever could
have imagined.
Although small in numbers, Upsilon Chapter is not small in strength. Fueled by their
desire to uplift their community and confident in eachothers' support, the women of
Upsilon Chapter will persevere against the odds and are eager to share their bond with
other women.
